Energy is measured at the same AC connection point. Duration = required delivered energy ÷ discharge power. Beginning-of-life usable energy = required end-of-life delivered energy × (1 + reserve) ÷ retention; containers are rounded up. Annual delivered energy = required delivered energy × full cycles; charging energy = delivered energy ÷ round-trip efficiency. This is a constant-duty annual estimate, not a degradation forecast. Use AC usable container ratings on this same basis, not DC nameplate ratings.

Concept-level only. The area basis assumes 120 m² per container including preliminary spacing and access. Confirm degradation, augmentation, fire strategy, auxiliary loads, grid-code duty and vendor configuration before design or investment decisions.
